Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-07
Dorak is a booking platform that connects businesses with the people who book appointments with them. Businesses use Dorak to manage their calendar, clients and memberships; customers use it to find businesses and book. These terms are the agreement between you and Dorak when you use our apps, websites and booking pages — we have kept them in plain language on purpose. How we handle personal data is described separately, in our Privacy Policy.
1. What Dorak is (and is not)
Dorak provides the software: booking pages, calendars, client lists, memberships and reminders. The appointments themselves — the haircut, the lesson, the treatment — are provided by the business you book with, not by Dorak. Dorak is not a party to the arrangement between you and a business.
2. Your account
- Business owners sign up with a name, email and password. Keep the password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Customers sign in by verifying their own phone number with a one-time WhatsApp code. Verify only a number that is actually yours.
- Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. If we believe an account has been compromised, we may suspend access to protect it until it is secured.
3. Acceptable use
Use Dorak only for what it is for — real bookings and real business management. You must not:
- make fake or bad-faith bookings, or book on behalf of someone who has not asked you to;
- harass businesses, customers or anyone else through the platform;
- impersonate another person or business, or verify a phone number that is not yours;
- scrape, probe, overload or otherwise interfere with the service, or try to get around its security or rate limits;
- use Dorak for anything unlawful.
Businesses must additionally list only services they genuinely offer, honour the bookings they confirm where reasonably possible, and comply with the laws that apply to their own client data.
4. Bookings are with the business
A booking made through Dorak is an arrangement between you and the business. The business decides its availability, confirms or declines requests, provides the service, and is responsible for its quality and for what it charges. Dorak displays the information the business provides; we do not verify prices or promises.
5. Cancellations
Each business sets its own cancellation policy, shown on its booking page. If you need to cancel or move an appointment, follow that policy. Businesses may also cancel or reschedule — for example, when they are unexpectedly closed — and should let you know when that happens.
6. Memberships and session packages
Some businesses sell memberships or session packages (for example, ten sessions or a monthly plan). These are agreements between you and the business: the business defines what is included, how long it is valid and whether anything is refundable. Dorak just does the counting — tracking the sessions used and the sessions left.
7. Fees
Dorak does not charge customers a fee to book through the app or the booking pages today. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly before it does. Prices shown for services are the business’s own; you pay the business directly, on its terms.
8. The service, as is
We work hard to keep Dorak fast, available and correct — it is our product and we care that it works. Still, we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or instantly up to date, and we provide it “as is”. In particular, Dorak is not responsible for what businesses do or fail to do: the accuracy of their listings, the quality of their services, or their handling of your bookings.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: Dorak is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits or missed opportunities), for disputes between customers and businesses, or for events outside our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid Dorak (customers currently pay Dorak nothing), or, where such a cap is not permitted, to the minimum the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Ending things
You can stop using Dorak and delete your account at any time, in the app or by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, harm other users or put the service at risk — where reasonable, we will warn first. Businesses control access to their own booking pages and may restrict who can book with them.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Dorak evolves. The date at the top always reflects the current version; if a change meaningfully affects your rights, we will announce it in the app or on this site before it takes effect. Using Dorak after a change means you accept the updated terms.
